World HQ.
After The Mousetrap last night, in which Tim was superb, we all popped over the road for supper at The Ivy. This is a famous theatre district restaurant where power players, stars & celebrities are often to be seen. The last time we were here, Joan Collins was behind me. Last night Harold Pinter was on the table next to us, David Hyde Pierce on the table next to that. T has to tell me all this later because I usually sit facing the wall and, in any case, my eyesight is crap.
This morning: T and I had breakfast on the Chiswick High Street before I set off for Somerset to visit Walter Goodwin, George Bennett & other pals at the JGB Annual Group Meeting. It's not called that but, more or less, that's what it is.
Now home to find nothing has changed with the drawers & bookshelves in World HQ that were to be changed - this week!
